CONFERENCES

ELITE BUSINESS LIVE

We have been covering this two-day business conference for six years, adapting the event to meet the challenges of the pandemic. The hybrid event has a large physical audience and a mixture of both in-person speakers and live remote speakers from around the world. Our services included multi-camera setups, breakout coverage, event highlight films, PA and sound systems, as well as a backstage live camera.

HAMPSHIRE PE CONFERENCE

An ideal example of a two camera livestream that effectively incorporates slides into the broadcast.

Each year, we have the privilege of streaming the Hampshire PR Conference on behalf of Hampshire County Council.

For this project, we provided a two camera setup, along with the seamless integration of the client's slide presentation, ensuring engaging and professional viewing experience for all attendees.

HYBRID

INSURANCE LAW GLOBAL

Insurance Law Global (ILG) is a multi-jurisdictional network of independent insurance defence law firms. The seven hour event welcomed physical guests and speakers and we brought in more than ten virtual keynote speakers and panellists from across the globe.

SOFTCAT: EXPLORE CISCO

In collaboration with the Miramar Group, Softcat sought to conduct a relaxed Q&A session featuring key team members discussing the latest software trends alongside Cisco.

They engaged our services to deliver a multi-camera solution at The Brewery in London. We deployed our Portable Production Unit (PPU), which included four cameras and crew to ensure comprehensive coverage of the event. 

GLOUCESTERSHIRE WILDLIFE TRUST - LIVE EVENT

We were invited by Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust to stream a meeting at their HQ, discussing collaboration among charities, the private sector, and government on climate change. The event included a panel with Sir Alok Sharma MP, President of COP 26, Richard Graham MP, and GWT staff. Our team provided necessary equipment and ensured a reliable broadcast through the venue's internet and our 4G. Additionally, we created a custom webpage on our unbranded to host the broadcast. BCS - DIGITAL SKILLS NETWORK

The Digital Skills Network event was held at the BCS London office and we provided full event production including event highlights filming, a multi-camera live stream, lighting, sound and PA system and hosted the broadcast on our un-branded event website

IMPACT WORLD FORUM WITH BARCLAYS 

We have broadcast four incredible events at the Royal Institution in London. Our team supplied a comprehensive outside broadcast solution, which included five cameras, camera operators, a director, a vision mix operator, a live stream engineer, and a time delay unit. The most recent broadcast attracted over 30,000 viewers globally, enabling entrepreneurs to showcase their pitches and innovative concepts to a worldwide audience.

HISTORIC ROYAL PALACES

Historic Royal Palaces reached out to us with a request to facilitate the live streaming of two of their informative talks, which were part of the prestigious Relevance event. These were held at two iconic locations: the Tower of London and Hampton Court Palace. We provided a Portable Production Unit, a skilled Vision Mix Operator, and two cameras with operator. Additionally, for the live streaming setup at Hampton Court Palace, we made use of an outside broadcast trailer, enhancing the overall production quality and logistics of the event.

VIRTUAL

APPRENTICESHIP WEBINARS

We facilitate BCS (The Chartered Institute for IT) webinar events in our video studio in Oxfordshire, close to Swindon. Previously, BCS utilised Teams and Zoom for these broadcasts but sought a more polished and professional look.

Our fully staffed studio includes camera operators, a director, and more, ensuring a high-quality production. Remote speakers participate in the broadcasts, typically hosted by two BCS Directors.

SOCIAL WORKER OF THE YEAR AWARDS 

During the pandemic and the following year, we live streamed the Social Worker of the Year Awards as a hybrid live stream event in collaboration with PMLR Genesis. The event was co-presented by BBC Journalist Ashley John-Baptiste. We provided all necessary equipment, including a director, script supervisor, two camera, autocues, as well as lighting and sound ops. We also hosted the broadcast on a custom web page. FIRE BRIGADES UNION DECON CAMPAIGN LAUNCH

We streamed the DECON campaign launch in collaboration with PR agency People. The client wanted a genuine atmosphere rather than a typical TV studio setting, so an actual fire station was used. As the station was operational during the entire period, from setup to live, we had to meticulously plan the staging and execution. We used a three-camera setup along with extensive lighting. Additionally, being situated in a large, echo-prone area between two busy roads made sound quality a crucial factor. Read more.

UNITED NATIONS PRESS CONFERENCE

We streamed a press conference featuring Philip Alston, the UN Special Rapporteur on poverty in the UK. We supplied two cameras with an operator, a vision mixer, and sound equipment. The live stream utilised a bonded connection of cellular data and the venue's broadband to ensure a seamless broadcast, even if the venue's internet speed fluctuated. The one-hour broadcast reached an audience of 70,000 viewers and garnered 3,000 comments, leaving the client extremely satisfied. Read more.

MICROSOFT SURFACE DEMO

McCann reached out to us to live stream a masterclass series featuring Photographer Allan Hinton, highlighting how their Microsoft Surface product integrates seamlessly with Adobe's Lightroom and other Adobe software.

We delivered three live multi-camera broadcasts on their Facebook page, marking Microsoft UK's first use of Facebook Live for broadcasting. Read more.

RITUALS COSMETICS DEMO

Rituals Cosmetics reached out to us for their inaugural UK livestream, which also marked their debut live on Facebook. The event featured a product demonstration and a Q&A session led by Abigail James.

We provided a two-camera live stream from their Covent Garden store. With over a million followers on Facebook, broadcasting on Facebook Live was a natural choice.

CANNED FOOD FESTIVAL WITH TV CHEF PHIL VICKERY

During the pandemic, we consulted on, filmed, edited, and streamed the inaugural Love Canned Food Festival for a global corporation.

The four-day event was broadcasted across multiple Instagram brand channels, including Branston and Bachelors.

We collaborated with TV Chef Phil Vickery to produce the introduction clips. Additionally, we supplied a photographer who worked alongside their food stylist to capture stunning images.

Our motion designer developed an animated countdown sequence for the broadcast launch and created various graphics. Read more.

LOVE FASHION LIVE BROADCASTS

We were thrilled to cover the 'Love Fashion Live' event at The Brunel Shopping Centre. During the three-day event, we organised six Facebook Live broadcasts, generating excitement on the client's Facebook page and allowing those who might not have attended to gain valuable insights into the experience. Presenter Esme Todd interviewed various participating companies, adding a refreshing perspective to the event. The broadcasts attracted thousands of viewers. Read more.

DNV GL AND VECHAIN LIVE

DNV GL / VeChain engaged us to stream a significant announcement. As they had never live streamed before, they were uncertain about the potential global audience size. We provided a dual-camera setup along with sound and live streamed the event on the DNV GL Facebook page. Within minutes, the audience exceeded 4,500, with over 2,000 viewers asking questions and engaging with the event, leaving the client overwhelmed by the response. By the end of the 50-minute broadcast, more than 40,000 viewers had tuned in.

'DRAGON'S DEN' STYLE LIVE

TokenMatch, a prominent firm specialising in bitcoin capital deployment, sought our expertise to organise and broadcast a "Dragons Den" style event. A total of 15 ICOs had the opportunity to present their innovative pitches to a captivated audience of potential investors. We supplied high-quality audio and a three-camera live stream from Westminster, London. This extensive live stream was successfully delivered over a duration of six hours, allowing for in-depth presentations and interactions

STAGE

LIVE DANCE PERFORMANCE

During the pandemic, Pavilion Dance South West reached out to us for assistance as they had to cancel numerous performances. They aimed to develop an online performance that would immerse the viewer in a dance experience. We recorded the performance, capturing each segment from multiple angles. Our editor then compiled the footage into a cohesive performance, which included an introduction and a Q&A session and it was streamed a few hours later. Read more.

ELITE BUSINESS LIVE 'ON TOUR'

Since 2019, we have partnered with Elite Business Live, providing comprehensive coverage for hybrid, virtual, and in-person events. In 2023, they opted to take their show on the road, visiting five locations across the UK for one-hour presentations at various hosted events. To support this initiative, we engineered a compact production trolley equipped with cameras and wireless connections, enabling us to efficiently set up at at each venue while minimising disruption. CHRISTMAS LIGHT SWITCH-ON

We provided complete outside broadcast services and an event highlight film to Chippenham BID Company. 
 
Our outside broadcast vehicle with five cameras and four camera Operators handled the big screen relays & Facebook Live stream on the night of the light switch-on. We also provided a 18ft camera jib to get some great shots over the heads of the audience. The whole project was delivered within 12 hours of the event finishing. See more of the output here.  

PGA GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP

We aired a six-hour championship for The PGA and 18players.com at Blairgowrie Golf Course, located near Perth, Scotland. To minimise expenses, the two-camera coverage and live commentary were vision mixed remotely from our headquarters in Oxfordshire, incorporating a live scoreboard, course overview map, weather updates, and additional videos. Our 4G encoders enabled broadcasting from the course, allowing the streams to be sent to The PGA's Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter channels. Read more. 

CHILLI EATING LIVE

The inswindon BID Company reached out to us for live streaming the 'Clash of Titans' Chilli Eating Competition. In past years, their attempts to live stream via mobile phones were unsuccessful due to the saturated 4G connectivity at this highly attended event. To ensure a smooth broadcast, we provided three cameras, two operators, a Vision Mixer/Director, and an outside broadcast van. By using our satellite connection, we eliminated any cellular problems and successfully streamed the event to their Facebook page.

LIVE AT ST.PAUL'S CATHEDRAL

Historic England reached out to us to live stream two unique events they were hosting. "Where Light Falls" narrated the experiences of individuals who bravely risked lives to safeguard their cherished places during the Second War, taking place at two cathedrals with contrasting histories.

Spectacular installations illuminated the façades and precincts of St Paul’s Cathedral and Coventry Cathedral after dark. Both venues presented technical challenges including connectivity. Read more.

TOWN HALL

LIVE FOR THE LONDON AMBULANCE SERVICE

The London Ambulance Service reached out to us to live stream their annual public meeting held in Chinatown, London. They welcomed their patients, the public, and stakeholders to highlight some of the standout aspects of their service. Making this event as accessible as possible was a priority for them, and that’s where we stepped in. We collaborated with their in-house comms team to plan the broadcast, ensuring it was technically feasible and effectively conveyed their key messages. Read more

LIGHT UP A LIFE SERVICE

During the pandemic, Prospect Hospice, was one of two local hospices that sought our assistance in creating a virtual version of their annual memorial service.  We dedicated an entire day to filming the necessary footage and another full day to the editing process to ensure everything was polished for viewing. Once the video was complete, we organised a live stream at a mutually agreed-upon time, allowing everyone to come together and share in the experience of watching the service simultaneously.
