X Live Streaming - July 2024 - Important Changes - Must Read!
As of 14th July 2024 X (formerly Twitter) has announced new changes to its live streaming feature. The ability to livestream has now been moved behind its premium paywall.
You will only be able to live stream on the platform if you have a Premium account which includes Media Studio.
Your account must be verified with the blue tick. This process can take a couple of days and requires photo ID.
You cannot even set-up a stream without the account being set up.

You can upgrade your x account here. Make sure you sign up for Premium as Basic will not give you streaming.
